As a leading institution in higher education, we have a particular responsibility regarding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments. We are indeed training the first generation that will face the direct consequences of climate and societal changes, and that will have no choice but to adapt and tackle unprecedented challenges. Moreover, we are educating the “creatives” of tomorrow, those who will be at the forefront of reinventing our products, practices, and leisure activities, making them more eco-friendly, more sustainable, and more resilient.
An ambitious roadmap
Environment
Aim for carbon neutrality by 2030
- Conduct an annual carbon assessment and adhere to a stringent low-carbon trajectory.
- For every student, offer at least one educational experience (course, seminar, masterclass, training) focused on climate change each year.
- Transform each campus into a sustainable campus: switch to green energy, prohibit the use of single-use plastic items, promote recycling, and publish a responsible waste management policy.
- Implement a sustainable purchasing and recycling policy for the group’s equipment and consumables.
Social
Provide an inclusive and diversity-respectful experience.
- Develop an effective policy for integrating people with disabilities, for both students and staff.
- Establish a Diversity & Inclusion task force in each country and school.
- Support students in financing their studies through scholarships, loans, or prioritizing work-study programs.
- Support charitable organizations, both financially and through student projects.
Governance
Aim for carbon neutrality by 2030.
- Establish a group-wide ESG committee, supported by ESG representatives in each country and school.
- Develop a set of procedures to harmonize ESG practices across all schools and countries.
- Promote a mixed and shared governance structure, aiming for 40% to 60% female representation in executive committees.
